I was just reading Father Rungi's blog yesterday, in which he said his idea had been "misunderstood" but he was going to continue.
The address is >> Padre Antonio Rungi << but everything has been taken down and it's now "under contruction".

Oh God (apologies!) it is all so ridiculously poltically correct theofeminism. Why shouldn't nuns have their own Pirelli calendar? The closed orders (Oh how infinitely desirable could a closed order shy nun be!?) - untouchables, but admirables - can I patent this extremely marketable notion? Bunny nuns (you'd only have to change the habit a tad......!)

I agree Charles. Lets see if we can cut a deal with the Padre. :winki:

Nuns, (nurses and schoolgirls,) I can see the fantasy lives on, in some hearts and minds, and theofeminism, whats that when it is at home?some attitudes to women never change.

I assume that he'd been told to stop because someone was worried that Father Rungi was getting a dirty habit.

seems like a familiar statement from history - anyone else notice that 'Father Rungi' is an anagram of 'Giant Fuhrer'?

I prefer phonetic spoonerism - He actually seemed like a "rather fun guy" to me :-)
If we have to do anagrams, perhaps "Terra Funghi" - IMO, religions have a tendency to treat their followers like mushrooms ...

Why the fuss- they have calendars with some very cute priests here- isn't it the same thing (or am I being too simplistic!?)

And when they were selecting a new Pope a couple of years ago, Oggi had a beauty parade of likely Cardinals!!
I don't think it was a good idea to have that competition, this type of thing is not needed to "modernise" the Church, other things are more important; however, I must say that there are some beautiful young nuns in convents, not all of them are old and ugly.
