Quite honestly I'm inclined not to understand what you are going on about and the reason for you deletions.

You could have said this originally. How were we to know??? So much for communication eh.

As for the usage of videos and images, just because they are not one's own doesn't make them invalid and they add "colour" to plain text ad infinitum.

So ignore it. Many do.
I took the videos of the celebrations myself, uploaded them to YouTube and posted the link to one here.
I'm interested, but the link seems to have disappeared from your post.
You have now posted three YouTube links of material that I assume is not your own...
So people are only allowed to post links to YouTube when they are the originator? Is this a new forum rule?

Al

Please, please, no need to get upset. We knew the thread was about a "giostra" or joust; however, there is no need to draw blood.
I enjoyed all the videos and they prompted me to do more searches about the Giostra and I found out many interesting aspects of the festival. Certainly, I have put it on my list of events that I would like to attend in the future.
So thank you all for the input.

'A Series of Unfortunate Events' resulted in silent protest - perhaps - but who is Esme?
