10264 Renting a house

I'm looking for some opinions about which website(s) are the best to advertise with to rent out our house. Do those of you who rent out your houses in Italy find that they get the most business through ownersdirect.co.uk? Or holiday-rentals.co.uk? Recommendations gratefully received.

We find that holiday lettings and owners direct give us the most referrals, also a good hit rate for this Italy mag site.

Holiday lettings are part of the right move.co.uk, so do spend a fortune of advertising and optimisation. They also are now advertising on the back of ryan air seats.

I have a code if you want to advertise with holiday lettings which would give you 15 months for the price of 12. send me a pm if you would like it.

Can also give you several pointers with regard to successful renting, as I was responsible for the property theatres at dolce vita and viva italia - giving seminars on how to rent.

My Partner and I have been renovating a house near bagnone in Lunigiana and we want to rent out from spring 2009. Any pointers would be great, we are keen not to be limited to English customers as the area seems very popular with Italian tourists and German and Belgian. Any tips or if you could let me know when you are next giving a talk in London that would be great.
