3890 Perugia Airport - Info please

We've booked a walking holiday in September ["Umbria and Assissi" with ATG] and as a change from the normal type of travel arrangements, I have booked to fly into Perugia Airport [on a little 32 seat propeller driven plane] from Milan.

I have started doing all the web searches etc - but has anyone used Perugia Airport?

If so - any idea how easy it is to get to Todi? And to get back from Assissi?

Any other info gratefully received

Perugia airport is in fact between Perugia and Assisi,in fact nearer to Assisi than Perugiait'd take 10 mins to ASSISI from there, the road from both Perugia, assisi, airport is thesupersrada for Foligno/Terni which goes straight to Todi so it's all pretty easy...

Is there an airport at Rimini and if so do any budget airlines go there? What is the route from Ancona to Sansepulcro like?

There is an airport at Rimini. As far as I know, though, only the main operators fly there - My Travel, Thomson etc.

good looking

The "direct" route - San Sepolcro to Ancona - through the mountains of the moon - is an absolute delight...on a Sunday, when there are no heavy vehicles. But even on a weekday it is kind of nice to be stuck at a speed where rubbernecking is safeish - it is the Slow Food equivalent behind the wheel. What's the hurry!!

Easyjet started flying out of Luton to Rimini at the end of June 06. Definately not a rumour, I've booked some flights for August.

Perugia airport quite cute but not too well signposted you will probably see a tailplane sticking up over the maize fields as a clue! Todi etc no problem. Hint- Todi parking - turn left at big round church S Maria Consolazione and after half mile right to car park with small charge but with free funicular in to town - no parking in town!
