Michael O' Leary was interviewed - naturally.

Why don’t you post this in the group

UK TV
a place to share info on forthcoming UK TV programs featuring Italy?

I an sure your fellow members would be interested.

How do I actually see the video here in Italy?

K

The alert was for people in the UK obviously, and if you look at the timing of my initial post, the programme had already started. If it had been advance notice then perhaps I might have posted it in the groups. I do note no complaint from you Nielo then to the recent thread of the TV tv series about Tuscany this Thursday. To be expected I suppose.

It was not a complaint Sally, just a question. It does seem a shame to have a specialist group to discuss UK TV and then not use it..

I thought you could if you changed your IP address to one domiciled in the UK. There are several pieces of software available on the internet that allow you to do this. I have not tried it yet but was planning to once we move in at the end of the year. Has anyone had any success with this way of accessing TV on the net?

I think you can change your computer;s country of residence. Also there are intermediary websites but they don't seem to work if you want to access bbc iplayer or itv catchop

Or find a good friend/relative with a SlingBox...

(if you have not heard of it before and are unsure what it is, click on the word Tor in the body text.)

Sally, the international settings on your computer have no impact on your IP address. If you want to try something for yourself have a look at:

IP Address Locator - Enter an IP address to find its location - Lookup Country Region City etc

You can even put in other IP addresses - if you know them. I thought you were/are a web designer?

Oh very cheeky. Actually I'm guilty of taking on board my sister's comments on IP addresses. I should learn to trust myself more. lol
