I presume this is a legge regionale for Campania - the only snag is, there isn't an LR23/2004.

mmmm interestingthank you for that list...does that show what easch law requires?,as ive never heard of this before,what does it actually mean..?is it just a local law that applies to that area? i assume the LR is the'Legge regiornale',2004 is the year.....what is the 23?:nah:

No, alan's suggestion isn't relevant (unless Avellino has moved to Emilia Romagna from Campania!)

Each region (of which Emilia Romagna and Campania are two) makes its own regional laws, so you'll have to track down the one you want from Campania. On the site I pointed you towards, clicking on the title of the LR gives you the full text plus some notes. Can you check the LR number and the year, just in case one of those is incorrect? What do you think the law is about?

ok...thanks again...heres what my agent emailed re the LR 23.2004 law....

The law from the council that regulates the change in designation of a C
category to A, is the following: LR 23/2004
La trasformazione appare possible ai sensi dell’art. 37 della LR 23/2004
solo se eseguita senza apposite opere edilizie e se conforme alle
disposizioni della legislazione urbanistica. Se la trasformazione ha
comportato la realizzazione di apposite opere edilizie la condonabilità
dipende anche dal rispetto dei limiti e delle condizioni previste per la
specifica tipologia di intervento edilizio.
This law states that any property can undergo a change in designation as
long as it follows the laws and regulations of each individual council's
territory.
In the case of the property you are wishing to buy, it was built before
1967 and therefore falls within the laws of the LR(legge regionale)
23/2004 in the council of Nusco.
