Hi,
I managed to source a painter and he's working away at present. Once the work has been done I'll pass on any recommendation.
Thanks,

No he's not from Prezza and has been very professional in his dealings so far. I'll let you know how I get on.

Well my painting has been finished and inspected. Came in on time and in budget and overall I'm delighted with it. It was well finished and no spots or spillages - everything was well covered by him during the work. Also he went that extra step of emptying out furniture and moving it to accomodate works.
I'd highly recommend this painter. He's based in Loreto Apurtino so would suit anyone generally around there. Though he did travel the hour to Sulmona to do our job. If anyone wants the details they can PM me.
Glad to see some of you in Sulmona

I am new to this forum and am so happy to see some English speakers living near or in Sulmona. I do not live there but as I wrote in another post I spent many summers in Sulmona where my grandmother lived. We now have a lovely apartment in Sulmona that we will be cleaning out to rent (hopefully foreigners) for long term renters. I will be I am sure asking here for help in various things (recommendations for clean up people, moving stuff out, etc.) Enjoy Sulmona as it is a wonderful town!Lucia www.living-italy.blogspot.com:smile:
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knows of a good painter/decorator in the Sulmona area. We got a quote from our local agent but it seems outrageous. We have a small 2 bed apartment so we didn't think there was that much painting in it. We would do it ourselves except that we only holiday in Sulmona so don't want to spend our time surrounded by paint brushes! That and the fact that we have three small kids who would want to help.
Thanks for your help.
if i were you i'd just go to your nearest/friendlist neighbour and ask him if he knows a "bravo imbianchino "
