if there is one eating place worth travelling to, the Osteria San Cesario is IT. Incredible food at unbelievably low prices for the quality (try the platter of local specialties as an appetizer). Good service and unremarkable location (but the osteria itself is lovely)

Very interesting, as we live only 25 min away. San Cesareo is not exactly picturesque but it does have the nearest thing to a garden centre hereabouts - and two of them!
