10763 Granite Worksurface Suppliers

Morning All,

I am wondering if anyone can help, we are having a farmhouse renovated in the Macarata region of Marche. We have chosen the new kitchen with the exception the worksurfaces, we have a granite worksurface at our house in the UK that we love and want to install in Italy, but do not want the expense of having to ship it from the UK. The granite is called 'Kashmir White' and I was hoping someone may know of a potential supplier, hopefully in Marche, as my endeavour to find one on the web so far have been fruitless.

there are lots of granite and marble dealers around, check your yellow pages , and if you buy direct its a lot cheaper ................good luck

Can I suggest you ask your UK supplier for the manufacturer's name and contact details and get in touch with them???

Just had a thought, most of the locally sold is from the middle east anyway , so you should be OK ...............

Hmm, we seem to have a marmista in almost every town if not village. They have a massive choice of stones to chose from. The most common granite used here is "lucerna" - lets assume it is from the Lucern area of Switzerland.
For my own education - is it not common to have marmista in all areas of Italy?
