10814 Complaints to Italia Telecom

Does anyone know the best way to make a complaint against Italia Telecom and to who? Have a friend who has had the most appalling service Thanks Nicola

Dear Nicloa because we have PM'd a few times, you know that when I say I laughed out loud....I am not being cruel. We had no phone for 10 days in August. I read all the small print and called Telecom Italia for a refund. The first person that responded after all that digiti uno digiti due stuff began to listen (I was polite) but cut me off, so did the second. The third said...It was an "Act of God"...oh so the fact that the line was hanging in the breeze for 10 days and the engineers didn't come was a heaven sent problem?
I could tell you of many hopeless attempts to get Telecom Italia to "do something" about bad customer service. (I seem to be the "best" speaker of Italian amongst my English friends and neighbours, so get given the task. I have failed every time.
Now if it is a matter of being over charged or being repeatedly charged for a service you do not use or have cancelled then I have scored a success and got a repayment by calling TI but it took a few months to come through on the bill.

So my answeris.... Get someone to write a letter in Italian. Ideally someone important and send it recorded delivery. It might...just might do the trick.

I have found it useful to go to one of the Telecom shops & speak to someone there. I've done this on 2 occasionans as my phone Italian is not up to scratch & they have phoned through the complaint for me & resolved it there & then

Is it possible??????????

Had a laugh when I saw this headline!

Lucky HelenMW. There is a PUNTO 187 in via Settevalli Perugia, Nicola....as they don't recruit their staff from Le Marche, fingers crossed if your friend goes there they will be helpful.

Thanks all - can understand your amusement Anna! Will pass on info

My advice is to cut your losses, terminate the line, pay what they say you owe them (probably more than you actually do) and move on, making a mental note never to have anything more to do with them. I found them utterly incompetent and very annoying indeed. Now I manage well enough with a mobile phone and mobile boradband, and don't have my blood pressure soaring from the latest outrage from Telecom Italia.
