10826 DVDs by Post in Italy?

Does anyone know of a postal service where you can rent DVDs online and have them posted to you in Italy? I saw such a service in the UK.

Have you looked into Amazon. I know they do it, but not 100% certain if they deliver to Italy, but would be surprised if they didn't.

Let us know

Hi there
I order dvd regularly from Amazon.co.uk. They all arrive when they say they do. I find it very good.

The one thing to watch out for, is that you order them from Amazon and no a person who sells on Amazon or the postal charges are huge.

Hope this helps

Hi
I think fitzer just wants to rent ?.......cant help, just clarify maybe

Lucky for us, our local town does have 2 dvd rental shops. The one thing though is that they rent them out by the hour, and you go through a screen to find the one you want and then pick. It runs on a recharge your card, and then you pick. So you can pick them even when the shop is shut.

As for a service here to Italy for renting..i.e Love movies....i don't hink they have anything like that here.

Hope it helps

we use tesco in the UK and it is an excellent service...I don't think such a thing exists in Italy...

Amazon.co.uk is great for buying but their rental service is not available out of the UK if that is what you are looking for.

Fitzer

If you want to watch films in English you could go to your local Italian video hire shop (assuming you have a big enough town nearby), register with them (you will need your trusty old codice fiscale) and just check the back of each DVD box - it will tell you what languages the film is in. When you load the film, at the menu stage, you can then select English.

Most films are English/American so no problem. But you do need to check first.

I got caught like that the very first time I ordered from Amazon. I thought the 0.01p brand new Enid Blyton books for my daughter was too good to be true. Books great, bill for postage huge. They won't catch me out again!!:nah:
