11011 Farm land values - Umbria
Hello!
I am a Norwegian, new to this forum, I have been looking at buying a holiday home in Umbria for a period. Some of the projects we are considering have some farm land, of different kinds. To try to understand what I would be paying for in a property, I am trying to learn a bit about values of the farm land itself as such, without the potential value of any buildings, building rights or other aspects that may be connected to it as a holiday home.
I have found that good, arable can be up to Euros 10.000,-/hectar, but what is the lower limit for less quality land (less productivity, smaller fields etc)?
Regarding woodland what is a guideline value for hilly areas, with a variety of smaller trees?
And what is the basic value of an hectare of olive trees?
If anyone in the area would be interested in sharing information and experience, please let me know here or in a PM.
I would also be very happy to learn of a good english speaking (still working on my Italian...) geometra or architect that would be able to check out things regarding the official status of a couple of properties for me.
Best regards,
We are using an English speaking architect on our project near Preci. I have sent you a separate PM
