Might it be related to the problem that arose a few months ago? I seem to recall some people were buying budget airline tickets via screenscraper sites. I don't remember what the problem was exactly but maybe it meant that Ryanair did not have direct contact with the customer?

It's a ridiculous condition which is clearly unworkable since it is contrary to how the internet functions.

I think Ryanair failed to honour the tickets as they were not bought from their website

They should start by sueing Google. They generate more incoming links than anyone else and they have plenty of money. Then again, they can probably afford lawyers who would wipe the floor with them.

I didn't mean that Alan tbh, I meant having conditions on who could link to them. It's unworkable.

I agree - I don't see how they can stop people 'linking' to their website.
I assumed that's why they took the action they did [not honouring tickets] to discourage people from using such links.
