11734 Seeking free Tickets La Dolce Vita 2009

Anyone know where to find free tickets for this event??? The Times was giving away tickets online in a competition and having gone through the lengthy, laborious website registration just now, I find the deadline has passed. I'm truly devastated!!!

Hi Sally - I can probably get you a couple from someone I know who exhibits there.

Send me a pm if you are still interested.

I am confused, is this a special screening? It has always been one of my favourite films and I would like to see it on the big screen.

Unless I am confused too (which is entirely possible), I think the free tickets are sought for La Dolce Vita Exhibition at Olympia, London at the end of March.

La Dolce Vita 2009 which Sally and Elmy mentioned is a top event about Italian lifestyle which takes place every year in London, at Olympia.

That is a must for all Italy's lovers!
There will be a top selection of travel destinations, holidays in Italy, property in Italy, Italian food & wine, Italian design..and much more.

For more information visit the official website:

in bocca al lupo per i biglietti!

I have La Dolce Vita Show on facebook and i just noticed that they are doing an offer for facebook members only, 2 tickets for £19!!!

You simply type 'Facebook' in the promotion code box when buying your tickets!

Simply annoyed as i already have tickets!!!

:wideeyed:

Ciao!

Well i personally think that La Dolce Vita is about a great day out and enjoying yourself with friends and loved ones, the atmosphere is amazing. Dont know if you have ever visited Italy, but it brings you an authentic taste of Italy: great Italian restaurants, finest artisan food, AND more for me... the most exclusive boutique wines and the most talented chefs around. So i doubt your night of entertainment would match this :laughs:

I'll be there for sure !!!

Oy JC, if you are going could you get me a couple of freebie T shirts and maybe a jar of Pesto Genovese - it's so hard to find a good one round here :laughs:

XL please. I don't think my Nonna would have approved of Basil. Did the Victorians use Basil, non lo so?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply, yes i recommended this code to my friend and she tried and it did not work for her either!!

But she got in touch with them and they have confirmed it should be up and running by tonight so don't despair!!!

Ciao!

Call me a cynical old barst if you like, but the idea of getting a special offer to fork out 9.5 currency units to expose myself to a hard sell on a country sold on a fantasy scenario... if I were feelng extremely charitable and polite, I would say 'no, thankyou'.
I could entertain four people, with great food, wine and grappa etc, for 9 and a half currency units (though I couldn't do sushi, nor the currency units in yen..)!

I worked there last year and weirdly enough it seemed to have more Italian visitors than Brits!

They had all come for a taste of nostaglia and had a good Italian lunch.

It is not all property. I bought some excellent language books I hadn't found anywhere else and my OH found some paper with a plaster finish invented by a guy from Puglia, used for decorative paint finishes, which can then be stuck on the wall or ceiling - thus saving the Michaelangelo bad back or painting upside down.

Mind you, I didn't have to pay to get in.......

They say you have to be in it to win it. Too true!!! I've actually won a free ticket and if others would like my link to another free ticket then send me a pm.

There's a problem though, I need to buy a black ink cartridge for the printer - £20!!! lol

HI,
I tried the "facebook" code on their website but it doesn't seem to work.

Promotions are also available for Italy Magazine's readers. Just enter ITMAG01 here

and you can get to the 2 for 19 offer.
Enjoy!

Thanks
Cristiana
