Just got back from a few days in Florence and opened the PC. Italy Mag is my Home Page and there was the joke? Am I lagging behind the rest of you? But I did at least get the joke! Good bye Italy ...Hello France....never!

By heck Nobes you're a better sleuth than JC or Nielo :bigergrin: I would never have spotted that:

a) because I don't read the mag bits
b) because I speak French as "well" as I speak Italian :laughs:

No dear Gala but when in Firenze I spotted those Ramerino Easter buns that you gave a recipe for. Sort of a hot cross bun/teacake with rosemary added instead of mixed spice. 90 cents each. The charming lady in the bakershop told me that the story goes that Christ ate these at the Last Supper. On Good Friday the ramerino buns are blessed by the priest so I expect they increase in price to € 1 ?? As for the French...they have sent all their teenage population to Florence for Pasqua!!
