12129 Walk Tall!
What a few days this has been...
Just look at what we have achieved - aren't you pleased to be part of trying to help? I know I am. I keep checking my 'available' cash 'cos I want to donate a little bit more. Of course I can't - so the next few bob will have to wait for a few days.
But just stand back and look at the way we we have worked together for the good of people who, through no fault of their own, are living in fear - not just of another earthquake, but that they will be forgotten. We can't let that happen can we? We need to keep this wonderful initiative going for a long as we can. It doesn't matter how much - or how little you donate, and if you've donated elsewhere surely another little bit here won't break the bank!
Just donate and let's walk tall together.
Henry Ford was right when he said:

So let's make sure we are all part of this success!
As Carole says, it is not simply looking after these people for a few days after the tragedy. What they need is to be able to get back to a life that will never be the same as before, but should be as close to normal as possible. Many of them have lost relatives or friends, so the pain will be there with them for ever.
