12080 Property wanted

I'm looking for a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment or house in Abruzzo or southern Le Marche. No small villages, need to be in or close to reasonable size town and 20/30 mins from the sea. Small garden or roof terrace. Needs to be ready to move in - will replace kitchen if needed. Approx 100 sq m. Not much to spend - 95,000 euros to include all fees. Anybody know of such a property? :yes:

Dont know if you are already in Italy, Hazy, but it might be an idea to pick up the local estate agents papers, which advertise apartments, alot of these at a premium, as apartments are very popular with Italians, maybe a small house might actually be the better option, but then you say no small villages and village houses still seem good value for money.

Or even get out there and do leg work looking for those miserably small notices pinned to trees etc which are only vaguely in the area of the property if put up by agents - I think it's a crafty move by said agents to get their 4%. Could be worth being nice to the people at the local bar and asking them.

Further to what Elliven suggested, make a small poster in Italian stating what you are looking for and contact details and ask the local bar to display it. They usually do it.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me on this - I think I have found my new home! Part of a large house conversion 6km from Grottemare - ticks virtually all my boxes. Only problem is that I leave my flat in UK on 5th June to new owners there and Italy home not ready until mid September. Have to decide whether to find cheap flat to rent in Scotland or Italy for the interim - anyone know of a cheap 1 bedroom/studio let in Southern Le Marche??!!
