And participating in them too Campo. Must be honest about these things you know - it doesn't do to paint yourself a whiter shade of pale - or the Cherokees will start a whoopin' and a hollerin'.

Hey Campfield! Will you be posing a question in the Mini Quiz? You did after all get Mr B! Now that the house naming is over, the quiz needs to be recommenced!

Yes, I posted one, but turns out Lollita is a human Babbage Difference Engine, and solved it scarcely before my left mouse key finished clicking. I'm way out of me league here. Anyone have any of those "Which of these two things isn't the same" puzzles?

I think Lollita just googled "5th digit plus the 3rd digit equals 14"
.

I think not Sir,
3rd and 5th digit add up 14 so the only possible combinations are
5+9
6+8
7+7
8+6
9+5
so using this and the fact that 2 and 3 must add up to 10 plus the other bits
the first combination would be ...... 9 5 5 6 9 = 35
so to the next combo - using 6 and 8 - bingo
Google - as if

Profuse apologies - getting cynical in my old age
Its just that that was what I did, and there's a lot of Googling on this site
