Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar problem with insurance companies paying out and if so how they dealt with it. My wife and I arrived at our house in Abruzzo at the end of last August to find there had been a break in, quite a lot stolen and some damage in total around 3,000 euro. Assessors came all seemed fine, except to date nearly 4 months later we haven't heard a word about settlement. We've spoken to our local agent and despite her chasing up the company claims department she's heard nothing in return, no communication, nothing and I'm just wondering if I should seek some legal advise. Any suggestions?
