3799 Education on Sicily

Hi. Wondering if anyone has any experience of, or information on schools and universities on Siciliy. Seriously considering a move there with two boys, nearly five and in reception year at school in England, and three, due to start school in Sept 2008. Thanks. Andrew & Debbie, Lucas & Milo.

Don't know about the schools in the civilis because I did my all schooling from my home. I can't go to school due to my medical problems and when I have to do any writing work I use the https://eduzaurus.com/free-essay-samples/sociology/ for example I bought some free essay exmples about sociology. So, if you ever need any essay writing help, you can visit the website any time.

Hi,

Not sure I can help much but I will share nonetheless!

Schools in Sicily can vary based on where you are planning to live in Sicily.

As far as public schools go the situation seems to be that with some exceptions that are dreadful and some that are truly excellent the rest are average. The region I live in (Ragusa) has an above average standard but then Ragusa is above average in most indicators when compared to most of the South of Italy.

University-wise Catania and Palermo are the only worthwhile ones. I know that Catania is quite active in the engineering/sciences department and has several good initiatives in humanities. Palermo I have not heard much off but that may be simply because I am closer to Catania than Palermo.

I have no idea if there are private schools in Sicily that care for a more international community.

All the best,

Ronald
