Hi,

I am moving from the UK to a small hill village in the Garfagnana, Tuscany, later this year, Whilst I can arrange removals from UK to Italy how do I manage to arrange from deliveries to my new home which is along a couple of very narrow streets that do not take large vehicles? Do I have to find a friendly local with a small tractor and trailer or are there speciality companies in the region who do this? They do get gas and wood deliveries and obviously locals do move in and out of the area and have new items of furniture delivered. I am just not sure how this is done. Can anyone please supply some guidance / advice?

Hi Steve , I have a house in Ceserana , Fosciandora and had the same issue but in the last 7 years I have a group of Italian friends/handymen/gardeners to call on so I can point you in the right direction for moving your furniture etc along the narrow streets .
