We tried buying outdoor furniture in high season a few years back and not only were there not bargains there was next to no choice. We ended up paying €800 for a small dining table and chairs!! Since then we always buy our outdoor furniture early in the season when lots of choice and generally find IKEA have the best prices. Having said that, I wish you luck.

Besides IKEA, you could try UNOPIU (www.unopiu.com), expensive but top quality and really beautiful. You could also find something suitable at LEROY MERLIN (www.leroymerlin.it) and they may have some offers or sales towards the end of the season, although the choice will be limited. Do not forget any of the BRICO shops and also CARREFOUR.
