27 How wide is an Ape?

Does anyone have an idea what the width of an Ape is? Our village "road" is only wide enough to take a small vehicle such as an Ape. I don't really want to get an Ape, but I wonder if there is any other sort of car that might be narrow enough to get up the lane. Given the proliferation of little hlll villages throughout Italy, I suspect this is a problem other people may have encountered.

I should add that I'm not so lazy that I can't be bothered to walk to my house, but it makes it much easier to move heavy things such as furniture etc. in if you can drive to the front door.

And here I thought you were talking about primates...I was going to offer to measure up the behind of our silverback gorilla for you.

The 'Ape' is normally 1480 mm wide (Long-deck pick-up = 1500 and Tipper = 1530) ..... though 'in the wild' specimens can be found which are a little narrower .... depends on the 'denting' ;)

You'd think i had nothing better to do wouldn't you?!
