52 Liguria and Camping

I've been looking for good websites about camping and tourism in Liguria, but so far, the only campsites I've found have been expensive ones near beaches with lots of activities. Does anyone know any less commercial campsites which have all the important facilities and possibly swimming pools? Also, I can only seem to find information about the area to the east of Genoa. It looks lovely, but if I persuade my husband that we should go as far as Italy, the other side of Genoa might be too far, as we want to combine it with time in France too. Is there much of interest to the west of Genoa?

The area between Genoa and the French border is lovely. Try the 'riviera del fiori' with some nice coastal towns and some beautiful hill villages just behind. As far as camp sites in the area are concerned, try

this is where I stay - I do B&B and get good prices plus you can have access to internet.

Note: they are currently building a camping area and also building a pool!

I do the B&B because I love the home cooking! Home made pasta, bread, fig jam, honey, wine, apricot jam, free range eggs...
