74 Wood yards

can anyone tell me if timber is sold as in UK, i want to buy some treated wood for a table and bench project.
I have a house near sansepolcro Tuscany

There certainly are wood yards. I can't comment on your area but there are some near us. You can buy treated or untreated wood. Builders merchants also sell it but it tends to be very unfinished stuff for shuttering etc.

Sheets of plywood etc seem harder to come by. We have found Brico to be the best place for that sort of stuff.
