9 Giggs Janie was correct - Gregan Mark was wrong

Not an "Italy" subject but carrying on from the previous forum - Janie looks like you were correct in your assumption of Mr. Giggs i read he is prepared to take a paycut in order to stay at Old Trafford for the rest of his career - Must admit he has been the star of my dream league this year so I hope he recovers from his injury and continues in the fine form that he has been in

Now Mark - Gregan yes he has improved in that you were correct, but he is never going to have the ability to make the grade in any division other than this one - he has improved from the worst player to pull on the white shirt since David Arle but thank goodness Seth "crock" Johnson is nearly back.

Small Italian bit to finish my new sign on will shortly be Forza Brescia after my Italian Team - who look like they will follow my English side down into LEague 2 - So perhaps you should both ignore me as I either know nothing about the game or am a born looser

Ciao

You may be getting Hulse and Sakiri from what Ive heard too!

Sorry! :D

I certainly hope the reports that Giggs has reached an agreement are true. He is playing so well at the moment, and teamed up with Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney, we have a very quick forward line.

I'm looking forward to the AC Milan matches, though I only have a ticket for the match at Old Trafford. Sadly, lack of funds have prevented me from taking the trip to the San Siro for the away leg. I was in Milan the last time Manchester United played there, though (Champions League Quarter Final - 1998/99 season) - the first time United had scored a goal on Italian soil for years, I believe, and then we went on and beat Juventus in the semi-final. I didn't get to Turin, but nothing could have kept me away from Barcelona! :D

Janie

Please don't mention the San Sero and the Nou Camp, those memories are unfortunatly just that for me - memories.

Mark it seems like we are becoming a a cast off outlet for your boys - just chuck your rubbish to us - so long as they will for three bob and a rabbit they will be fine. Still Hulse cannot possibly be any worse than Deane or Rickets

Janie

If we fail to ge tpromtion this year {which we will} - you can keep your hands off Aron Lennon - simply the best young star to come out of Leeds since the year dot.

Ciao

oh and Janie,

Thanks for the loan of Richardson - he may just be enough to help keep us up.

Our Bry and Fergie old boys club swung that one! :)

Forza Brescia - I'll do my best not to mention those stadia again. Don't want to make things worse for you and, if I hear whispers about Aron Lennon coming to Old Trafford, I'll do my best to put Sir Alex off!!

Mark - I hope Richardson helps the Albion stay up, though it's a difficult task for them. Our Bryan needs time, and if they are relegated, I hope the WBA board don't sack him when he's only had a few months in the job. Us Man United fans know from experience that a manager needs time. After all, it was 3 years after Ferguson joined us before things started to go well for us.

Forza

How about Hulse then? Does that make up for Greegs LOL :D

Mark

A cracking weekend for me Hulse was excellent even Greegs played well

To top that we had the score and firswt scorer at 66/1

And then today Brescia rediscovered there winning ways

What more could I want apart from giggs to score a hatrick in the Manchester derby

Sorry Giggs couldn't oblige, but Richard Dunne almost scored one - wonder what the odds would have been for hat trick of own goals (even though the first one was given to Rooney).

New to the forum and couldn't believe that Dave Harle was in a thread. I'm a Leeds fan from Doncaster and spent many a week in my teens at Belle Vue and so was happy as Larry when Leeds signed Ian Snodin but then after Billy Bremner followed (Great player, poor manager) couldn't believe the crap he took with him. I played football with alot of the Harle family and have net Dave a few times and he's an OK bloke but football wise he was just an average midfiled hustler in the lower divisions.
I developed a liking for AS Roma after the UEFA cup games against Leeds and try to get over as much as I can now which is hard now that my family and circumstances have extended to the point where I have had to let the season ticket at Elland Road go. Going Saturday though if you fancy a pint FB and you can put up with other peoples kids (Taking one of the kids is usually the only way I get to see the whites or il lupi these days)

Tom - glad to see a fellow white on the board - between us we can keep Janie in check

Will not get up to Leeds on Saturday until after 14:00 as i am going on the supporters bus and we don't get there early. Trying to find anyone you don't know face to face around the ground area is a nightmare - but if you want to meet up for a pint before the game one day PM me when you are next up and we'll arrange to meet up properly.

Not sure about the kids though

No problems. Can understand about the kids. The wife drives a hard bargain though. Can't complain as I still get to Rome to see the giallorossi at least once a year.

Could do with a result from Brescia this week with roma still after 4th spot over Samp and Udinese. How did you get into Brescia? Heard its a bit hairy at the Brescia ground. Gotta say i like the kit though. I have been trying to convince the rest of the guys in the 5-a-side team I play for to go for the away kit next time but they don't seem keen.

I'll certainly be hoping that Brescia get that result for you boy do we need it !!!

How ? - same as everything else really, It just kinda happened - met a few Brescia fans whilst on holiday in Lake Garda, promised then I would get to the ground one day.

Leeds go knocked out of the UEFA cup, early so me and a mate went over to watch the game vs bologna - the Brescia fans were mental singing for 90 minutes, fireworks flares the business - Leeds failed to get into Europe the following year so we booked to go again {twice}, we've never made it back so Brescia has become my weekend{s} away with the lads - least until the white gods return to there rightful place in Europe.

The Rigamonti is a bit of tip but the fans are superb, they seem to have a bit of reputation, but I don't know how earned that is the only time we have seen any trouble was vs Juve last year, when the ref robs us three points and a few of the busses got bricked on the way out - but other when they play Atalanta - the atmosphere is normially passionate but peaceful

Next up for us is a trip to watch the boys "In fuori" at Bologna in May - should be interesting !!!!!

Help!!

I'm outnumbered!

I have enough trouble with the Leeds fan I work with, don't need any more from anyone else!

Janie - was that one each for us so that we could both reply :D  :)

No - trying to bump up my post-count!

I was too impatient when I clicked on submit and it didn't work immediately.
