103 ......is that it now?

............ok, deep dreath..............

I note there have been several disruptions to the Forum of late & am keen to know if there are any more planned.

I recognise that the first (and biggest) was due to a major virus that took the whole of the B2B chat forum down, but the recent one....what was that about? Any chance of some forewarning of outages?!?

Whilst I enjoy browsing the message forum & whilst know I can live without it (really!), it has become a regular web stop-off when it (ahem!) gets quiet at work or with my morning coffee........

.........any chance it can stay around for at least a week this time without changing, disappearing or breaking this time?

.....oh, and any chance of getting the old messages back (sorry, the morning coffe I had enjoyed has now kicked in!)

Kim David, whoever wrote the post, you misunderstand Italy magazine are actually being quite diligent. They are preparing us for the great day when we move over to Italy, getting us used to things breaking down,. not knowing when it will be fixed. Oh just a suggestion, maybe the editorial staff could arrange a few strikes so the printed magazine was late. my copy always arrives on time.a bit to efficient if you ask me.

Thanks to everyone for their patience - we do realise that it has been rather unstable here in the past - the second upset was once more due to a "hacker" attack. However we've now switched software, upgaded the website and are not anticipating any other issues. All we want now is for the forum and website to grow so that they become truly useful for all of us interested in Italy.

A presto

Ronald

Have been rather busy recently and not having visited the forum for some months was amazed to discover the recent problems!

We have subscribed to the magazine right from the beginning and the forums proved very useful when planning our move to Italy. We even rediscovered an old friend via the forum!

Lets hope it can grow to its old strengths again.
