129 sterility

something strange seems to have happened.... alex and lyn have disapeared and the posts are all friendly and nice...... god knows how many italian exhibitions are on..... hasnt anyone anything to say about life here.... is it just that the sun is shining after what seems like a long winter.... where did mark go to..... is it just the blue ice cold forum ..... doesnt anyone have anything to say that will allow me to have a good arguement.... are people posting and ronald removing what he doent like..... sorry ronald or whoever you are..... .. can agree its all much more efficient... and its always available ..... but somewhere along the line the character of the whole place seems to have dissapeared.... if i see another posting about good builders in the marche i might well get sick.... or if you are going to delete postings about exhibitions why not do it from the start ..... trade advertising... it was at least informative if you were choosing to attend one of these exhibitions....

Does this help you Jon.

We have know decided to fix a date and will be moving to Italy at the end of the April. We are very excited but rushed off our feet and probably forgetting very important things. By the end of April I'm sure I will be ranting about buildings, how do I get this done, should this really take this long and a million other questions. So please John stay with us to advise me and help me on our way.

I think a lot of the discussion has gone since the server have been a bit irratic and people couldn't rely on the forum to be open for business. I'm sure people will be logging on again soon enough.

I'm still here and was also wondering where Alex and Lyn have disappeared to as they haven't posted since they went off to Puglia a while back. Can't think of anything to argue about at the moment and going off to Italy myself on Tuesday so speak to you soon.

Cheers.

hi john,

I wouldn't worry to much about the forums... they just need to get back in the normal flow of things again. the post was deleted because the argument for consistency won (an indication that there is a bit of thinking before we delete things)... if we are not to allow trade advertising then we should not allow it period and a press release is advertisting :) (for those who are wondering what on earth I and John are going on about have a look here)

as for sterility - what would you like to argue about...? I always enjoy a good argument! How about Berlusconi's latest slip of the tonque that embarassed his friends over the Atlantic - or Musolini's hunger strike because her lista was not accepted for elections. Or perhaps how Ferrari is NOT going to win the Formula 1 grand prix this year... or actually how about that excellent builder in Marche...;) Do you know something different about him that you would like to share?

other than that... the sun is shining, its easter, people are strolling about, I am high on cioccolato modicano which was pretty much the main ingredient in all dishes for the past two days in Modica (since its Eurochocolate) and honestly life is pretty good...

My husband will be meeting the excellent building in le Marche. I will let you know if he lives up to his name in due course.

Must admit that I'm also wondering how Alex and Lyn have been getting on.

Haven't been on myself as I've been away but look forward to some interesting debates. I expect that people will gradually return to Forum...but I did receive some coments about the new look...it would appear that the menu on the previous version was considered to be more user friendly.

Charles

I would definately agree with you on that Charles. I found the previous version easier to use.

Welcome back John - I was wondering if you had headed off into the sunset with Alex and Lyn! Yes, rather worrying about them as the last we heard they were taking a quick trip to sort out a planning issue. It was like tuning into the "Archers" tuning into the forum to hear their latest peril.

Hopefully they will return soon.

More rants from you please John.
