Hi, as you are probably aware a lot of the furniture in Europe, not only in Italy,is in fact manufactured in the Marche. That does not mean ,necessarily that there are stores everywhere or close to hand.We purchased excellent quality beds, chairs, divans, cupboards, and other furniture all through a local dealer at very good prices (it all turned out to be from one producer) so the dealer got good prices for us we paid without "papers" over six months and all a few miles away, they also delivered anmd mounted everything at no extra cost ie. in the price (careful as alot of discount stores do not do that kind of thing and you can pay thru the nose for extra costs unless you particularly like DIY ,which i hate.
Anyway at 50 mins drive from Pedaso,in Servigliano-AP, there is the very pleasant and professional store of Marini Mobili where we purchased everything, and feel able to recomend.any other info pls. mail.
good luck.

There is also Poltrona Frau, in Tolentino, and Val di Chienti, around there.

We found buying from a local shop very easy. We thought it was only an electrical shop but it turned out that the owner had brochures for every type of furniture and "out the back" had beds, sofas, chairs, tables etc etc. Never take anything at face value in small towns!
I felt that we were given an excellent service and the prices compared to the UK were not high. We had the added advantage of the owner constructing the beds, plumbing in the washing machine etc etc and we felt good at having kept it local.
He's now another friendly face at the local bar with whom we can pass the time of day.

You could try Mercatino Uno, in Civitonova. We are furnishing our b and b at the moment and it's quite a challenge. We are after a large double bed, length 200cm. The beds we've looked at are too short! We will be having German guests who like large beds.Any suggestions welcome.

When we furnished our house - we used IKEA for much of the furniture - especially the beds - they have lots of different sizes, including various lengths, and, although we didn't use the service, I think you can order large items on line and have them delivered.

There should be something interesting for old furniture in Pollenza, near Macerata.
Otherwise, the pole of furniture is in Mogliano Maceratese, just go to Civitanova and take the highway (Superstrada, the toll free one) to Tolentino, and exit to Mogliano. Same way to go to Pollenza (the exit is different).
Hope this helps.
Ciao!
