186 Liguria

I have been looking on the internet for a small hotel or B&B in the village of Apricale in Liguria, but can only find a very expensive hotel. Does anyone know of one? I would also love to buy a property in Liguria but have only been able to find a couple of estate agent sites that deal with this area of Italy. Haven't found much mentioned in Italy Magazine on this area either.
Any help, info would be gratefully received.

We have just been through the process of buying in Western Liguria so I have emailed you a list of a number of websites and contacts

:) Would you be able to send the web addresses to me ? I am also interested in property in this area.

Thanks.

The Apricale comune website has links to B&Bs.www.apricale.org/it. You could try La Favorita just outside Apricale. Less expensive and very hearty restaurant - nice grilled meat. Agenzia Liguria in Perinaldo do short term rentals, some are v.inexpensive in the Perinaldo area - www.agenzialiguria (they also feature a couple of Apricale houses). Anna speaks excellent English. I would also recommend a residence the Due Porti in Sanremo - very good value, with parking, immaculately kept and fairly inexpensive for its seafront location. Try doing a search on www.casa.it for houses by comune. Good luck.

Thank you "brendangfc" (I have e-mailed you separately) and Cassini for the terrific website addresses. Would have taken me ages trawling through the Internet to find them. Next step is a trip out to Liguria - can't wait.

I've sent you an email but not sure it sent properly - can you let me know if you received it?

We can strongly recommend L'Architrave Immobiliare (L'Architrave.com) a firm that specializes in Lunigiana and Liguria. They have recently expanded to Puglia also. We bought our house through them and their services have been excellent.

Could you please send me the information on agencies handling properties in the Liguria area? We are also searching for a house to buy in that area.

Thanks!

Yana,
I am an estate agent my self, I deal with properties in Piemonte. I have been in touch with Immobiliare Martinelli which deals with properties in Luguria. They have a web site, http://www.immobiliaremartinelli.com/, and you can ask of emanuela, she speaks fluent english.

Good Luck!!!!

Paola

venere.com maybe of use.
when you see the list of italian cities, just go to the bottom of the list,
press more cities and it then gives a whole load more of regions.

I can send you private e mail with agent in Liguria - there are a couple of Americans who have property in our village. 30 mins from coast behind San Remo.
