200 TV Series Looking For Renovators

I am working for a British TV production company and I am currently looking for people who are relocating from the UK to a new area abroad and embarking on an exciting restoration or conversion project. We are after people who are upping sticks from the UK to move abroad to create their dream home and brand new lifestyle.

I would have thought that this topic has been completely exhausted - is there really room for another TV programme??

I agree with Rachel. I have spoken with people (who contribute to this forum) who have been directly involved with one of these programmes. It was not at all as portrayed, as the originators of the project had already decided on the story-line. But then, in my experience, truth is always the first casualty when the media are involved.

I would be very willing to have the involvement of a TV company in my restoration. But I have a few questions:-

1) How many flights will they pay for and how often.

2) How much money will they contribute to the project.

3) How do you stop the smart arsed voice over that is put on after the event with 20/20 hindsight?

But if they offer enough I would be willing to humiliate myself

Perhaps they might not want to use me after all, my price might be too high?
