382 Australian in Palermo

hi, i have just moved to Palermo, Sicily from Sydney, Australia. I have been here for about two months now and it has been a real eye opener. My question is, are there any Australians in Sicily or any foreigners at all? They all seem to be in Rome and north.

Plenty of foreigners in Sicily. Heaps of Americans in and around Catania and down in Syracuse as well.

I know there are some foreigners in Palermo as I bumped into enough of them when I was there last - best place to find them lurking is around Ganchi's - a fast food place just over the railway lines just past that fancy main shopping street of theirs (the one a distance from the port). You could always try the university as well - there may be some international students there.
