621 Living in Le Marche - Pesaro e' Urbino

We are about to move to this lovely area. We would like to hear from anyone who is either currently resident or is planning to do so. As with everyone there are lots of challenges in doing this. We'd just like to communicate.

We are moving to the commune of Peglio, near Urbania. You can check out our introduction on this forum if you like - it'll give you some idea - we will be there next week (Sunday through to Saturday)

Dear Kirstin,

Thanks for your reply. ASAP to come and live is the quickest response, but as you seem to be aware things are not quite so simple! House sales in the UK are extremely slow and frustrating at present, but we will get there.

Yes it is just us two coming to live, and our Italian is 'beginner/intermediate'.

We are coming to Italy this Sunday 19th, through Friday 25th. Our mobile number is +44 797 00 451 28. It is a busy visit for us as we are completing our house purchase, but you never know it may be possible to meet.

What are you doing in Italy?

We only arrived in April/May. My husband runs his company using the internet. Its not just us. I have two children as well. I'm mostly enjoying the summer before having to start real life in the Autumn. My children don't start school till then. My Italian is the same but improving every day as is my children's. In the Autumn I'll look for work but I'm in no hurry, there's plenty to do here.

If you think you will be nearby this time and have time let me know and we meet for a coffee. Otherwise maybe next time.

We have a holiday house in Corinaldo, a bit south of you near Senigallia. We will be there from end July to mid-August. Maybe we could meet up if you will be there. otherwise good luck and keep in touch!
