887 Spa / Massage / Beauty Therapist

We are moving to Umbria - not far from Perugia - at the end of August and I would just like to offer my skills to either B&B, small hotels or anybody that requires a bit of pampering!

I am an experienced, fully qualified (CIBTAC) Beauty Therapist who can offer a wide range of beauty and body treatments.

I have for the last 8 months been employed as a full time spa therapist – carrying out a wide range of both beauty and body treatments at an award winning 5 star Spa within an exclusive hotel in the City of London.

Prior to this I worked for a year at an exclusive Health Spa Resort, also within the City of London.

Therefore, if there are any small businesses who would like to complement their services with a mobile Beauty Therapist for their guests, please contact me.

Alternatively if anyone has any details of 'job sites' it would be much appreciated, I have trawled through quite a few but for some reason there seems to be a distinct lack of this type of work - although I am sure that there is a market for it.

We have only just discovered this site and think it's great - looking forward to joining in further discussions.

General chat about Italy

Could you not get a job at one of the spa towns? There is Acquasanta Terme not far from Perugia, although it is in Marche and also a large spa not far from Rieti in Lazio. Also one at Viterbo.

Do a search for "terme" you will find that there are many around Umbria and Lazio.

Good idea thanks. Although my Italian is limited so I will envisage that this will cause a problem - even though we have been learning for a year!! But yes I will give it a go. Many thanks.

Once you get to Italy and start talking to people you will find that your Italian improves rapidly. About three months is all that you need to get confident.

I think that the nearest spa town to Perugia is Chianciano Terme in Tuscany.
