1486 A basic question from an ignorant fool..

I just started my Italian classes last week and am trying to get my head round some of the gender stuff and how it effects the definitive, plurals etc. We touched on adjectives in lesson 2 and I realised that I probably have the name of our house all wrong on my website - we have two houses - the Casa Grande and the Casa Piccolo - except now I think it should be Casa Piccola because casa is a feminine word - is this right - have I made a basic schoolgirl error on my website and the places I've advertised the house? My head is hung in shame if so...

Haven't had to really start learning something from scratch in years. Yikes its hard. I feel like everytime something new goes into my head something old falls out.

LOL Marina !
You are not alone. I can't yet comment on the piccolo/piccola thing as I haven't got that one sorted myself yet.
My husband reckons for him that it's all the new bits that go in one side then fall straight out of the other.....
Keep at it, no doubt it's a bit like riding a bike or driving a car and one day it will all fall into place - here's hoping

Hi,

Do not mind Marinaw, it should be Casa Piccola but the good thing is you can change it now. I speak and write to me foreign languages wrong all the time
but have decided to not to care about. Have nice language classes - the learning never stops :)

Thanks Paul. I'll get working on changing the words on my website now..

*Sigh* Wish I hadn't destroyed so many brain cells over the years..

Not that important. There is a store near my house called, "Bella Vestiti"
