Can anyone tell me if it is possible for me to recharge my TIM card from the UK? I've tried to go through the registration process online but I only get so far before it all falls over.

If you have a Banco Posta Account and have enabled internet banking you can recharge several Italian SIM cards online from the UK. You then get a confirmation email sent to your post.it email account. This needs activation too if you haven't done it. I have done this successfully for both TIM and WIND. I haven't tried to do this via any other method from the UK. I don't know if you can do it using an ATM haven't tried. It is possible that other Italian internet banking sites also allow this.
