2002 Help-need to buy furniture in Puglia

Completing on purchase of fabulous trulli on 29th November in Alberobello. Can anyone recommend suitable furniture stores in the region. Do not want to cut down our olive trees to make a bed!!

May be a bit far for you, but near Francavilla there's a lot of furniture shops - Paula put a post on with details, calling it mobili boulevard. If you do a search you should be able to find her post (many months ago). Went to the Mercatuno there and found a better selection than somewhere like Emmetzeta (Fasano). (Not sure about all these spellings, just got up!)

Good luck with your trullo. We completed on one near Ostuni in August and it just gets better each time we go - we're off there this afternoon for a long weekend.

When you are ready to move in, first, find some neighbours, second, ask them where you can buy furniture locally... Might be the best bet ??? :)

Isn't there an Italian Air strike today

Many thanks tracked the thread, found it, so will certainly give it a visit.
What a wonderful forum, so many tips, I'm sure I will be asking for help again.
Travelling to Puglia tomorrow can't wait.
