Have yet to visit the one in Sarzana but we might do that this weekend when we're over as we're in the market for some exterior lighting.
We have been in the lighting shop in Aulla (on your left as you drive down from Pontremoli) and it has quite a range of good stuff. There is also a reasonable range, albeit more B&Q than Christopher Wray, in the Brico behind Conad in Masero (also on your left as you drive down from Pontremoli).

Thanks. We've driven past the one in Sarzana - wondered if they had a website. Can anyone recall the name of the shop?

A brand new lighting shop just opened in Aulla yesterday. It's on the Via Nazionale (one of the first shops on the left if you're coming from Penny Market going towards the station). It's called something like Luce Riflessi - can't remember offhand but you can't miss it.

I believe the name of the above shop is 'LAMPADARI NARDI'
Nearby there's also 'GRANCASA'

We were there this weekend and it's HUMUNGOUS! Three floors full of lights of every description. And they speak english in there.
i know you said "fairly to Pontremoli" but there is a huge fantastic light fitting shop in Sarzana, by the motorway exit. There is also a smaller one in Aulla (never been but it looks nice). If i think of something else i'll post it to you.:)
