2152 Make My Son Ape!

Our soon-to-be 3 year old son is currently infatuated with Ape's. When we were in Italy last week we looked everywhere to try and find a toy/model Ape but to no avail. Does anyone know if such a thing exists and even better where we might be able to buy one from?

.... strange, considering King Kong is released this week. ;)

(...sorry)

A firm called Scottoy does indeed make toy Apes. I don't see any in the catalogue which are the closed cab type that I want to have someday just to show I'm a real contadino, but there are several variations on the three wheel scooter mini delivery van theme.

Lots of other cute Italian cars in the catalogue, by the way. I particularly liked the Fiat 600 Fire Brigade car. :D

Hope this helps.

Aliena,
While you and others post about cucumbers, other more serious members post some real interesting goodies, that we all look forward to, each and every day. If you would post stuff as shown above, you might escape the criticism recently expressed, by some more serious members of this forum.:D

excuse me but what's your problem with my post and why are you lumping me in with Aliena? I consider my cucumber post molto serious drawing attention as it does to the underlying problem of sexism in Italian society.

Becky,
I am on your side, as well as on the side of Aliena, or anyone else who wishes to post on this forum. I thought the post against Aliena and cucumbers, under Chat-Room, was in bad taste, hence my post in reply. If you read my post more carefully you will see my point; I just used a litte sarcasm to make it.

where is this mysterious post against cucumbers?Must see it now!! Capisco adesso!!

Ronald has put up the last page signal on the chat-room thread, and I did not want to short-change all those wishing for a Chat-Room, by posting an off-topic post in reply to another off-topic message. It's that simple.

How big and clever are you Francis? - I couldn't possibly compete with that.
