Hello,
I'm looking at a property for sale in Serramonacesca on the edge of the national park.
Anyone know the area, have any thoughts or comments?
If all goes to plan I'll be needing recommendations for builders etc

thanks for your reply.I've just tried to send you a pm but the computer says 'no'. It's saying your pm message space is full and it can't accept any more pms until you've cleared some space!

I would be fascinated to know how the buying process went for you, which agent you used and any useful info re the whole area. Good restaurants etc.
We're going out in mid Jan. hoping to have a little look around and also get some skiing in (possibly at Passo Lanciano)

Hi Marco
Can't help with your question, but went to Passo Lanciano back in June there was some snow up on the top (it snowed the night before we went).
You may already know but there is 1 chair lift and 2 ski lifts, 8km of skiing.
Maielletta, close by, has 7 ski lifts and 12 km of skiing.
If you're driving snow chains are needed after certain points (depending on weather) it was fun driving up even in summer.
