Let me introduce myself. Ive just joined the forum after reading a few issues of the mag. I'm struggling with the language a little, but will be attending classes from this week . To my eternal shame i never learned any italian even though my mother is italian and i spent lots of time there as a kid. However it was 25 years later that i returned a couple of years ago with my family to meet my uncles , aunts and cousins, and it rekindled my interest of the italian way of life. Easy.

went back again last autumn and in the village of my forebears i saw an old house that needed renovating, and have recently made an offer and subject to going back out there later in the spring and reviewing it has been accepted.

so i will be picking the brains of you good people in future posts. even though i'm a builder here in blighty, i'm an absolute begginer to the italian way of property purchace and how the legal system works.
