2482 mix for laying blocks?

has anyone been successful in sourcing materials to make the equivalent of a 4:1 sand cement mix for building walls with in the Ostuni/ St Vito area? I want to build an outside store room to house my boiler.

My husband is a builder and he's just bricked up a doorway and fitted a window. There is a builders merchant in Ostuni but god knows how we describe where it is. Its down one of the back streets :rolleyes: . Will post again once he's in from work. Welcome to the forum by the way ;)

We can recommend a builder`s merchant in Martina Franca but maybe that`s too far away for you. Like Paula, I`d have to get Martin to tell you where it is - I don`t think I`d be able to describe it!!

If it's the same one it's on the Ceglie to Martina Franca road on a bend opposite the church but don't know its name.
