Hi there
We are sadly returning to the UK after a couple of years in Forli.
When we came here we found a company to transport our wordly goods for £800 (it was a return load).
The best quote we've had so far is around £2800 which I find staggering. I know we got a good deal first time around but I didn't realise it was that good!
Any suggestions would be greatly received.
Hi there Jackie we are bringing (hopefully) a full load over from Blackpool in the north of England to Lucca in tuscany at the end of feb 2006.We too have been shocked at the qoutes we have had for this trip.Maybe if we could contact grayline overseas as recommended with this suggestion i think we could both benefit. What do you think ? Andy

Thanks both for your quick responses.
Great idea Andy.
I'll send you a PM with my email and telephone details and will also send an email to Andrew Wiffen at Grayline for a quote.
removals to Italy

I keep the back issues of Italy magazine for this purpose, but can't say I have any personal experience of them (i have done most of my stuff in a couple of runs in a VW polo and from that recommend removal companies if you can find the cash somewhere!) but maybe as they say they specialise in Italy they will be more competitive?

Good luck with the move

We used Grayline also and would thoroughly recommend them. (God alone knows how they manage to get that lorry up some of those Italian roads to us).
We used a company called Grayline Overseas to send furniture out to Italy they may be able to help with a return load as they are regularly in Italy they can be contacted either by phone 07803 014955 or email andrewwiffen@btinternet.com we recommend them highly for a very efficient and personal service.
