2497 Puglia Rental Management services

We are looking to rent our property out in Puglia when we are not using it and after having taken advice it seems a good idea to have someone available there as a contact for people. We will also need to organise cleaners etc.

Does anyone know of any companies that offer this holiday rental property mangement service in Puglia? Or is there anyone moving out there who would be interested in doing this kind of thing? We are based near Fasano. It seems that this kind of thing hasn't really started yet although with many people starting to buy in this area I'm sure it won't be long.

What have people done in other areas?

Thanks for all advice

Puglia property management email address (I mean the one I mentioned above) is now PugliaLink@aol.com due to confusion with another business name - sorry for confusion!!:o

With all the posts about Puglia I am very keen to spend a week in the area (been once before to get the ferry to Greece) but was horrified to find the rental costs of villas matched Tuscany - before anyone gets up in arms it was the cost of a villa on the Umbria/Tuscany border that made us vow to buy our own place (family of 5 + dog seemingly spending every Summer in Italy). Will never pay those prices out again. The villa was interesting, with good views but came with scorpions behind every shutter in the mornings , a self erected pool and a shower which flooded the garden every time it was used. It wasn't really these issues - we've been there now too, but the price. I suppose being a short drive from Florence, Pisa, Siena and Bologna can demand a certain price. Can anyone recommend self contained with pool sleeping 5 (no dog anymore alas)under £800 per week in July (school hols) I've just searched Puglia villa rentals on google and came up with 6 which met my criteria but toooo expensive (and mostly not let)

This may not be of any interest, but today a friend (a local) asked me if I knew anyone who might like to rent their holiday home (in a holiday village - bit like Center Parcs - by the sea, near Ostuni) in either June or September (I know it`s not school holidays) but they only want about £400 ish per week. PM me if you think it`s worth looking into. There`s nothing in it for me - I hasten to add!!!
