2517 Snow in Lunigiana?

Anyone over there at the moment? Is there snow there or has it been snowing?

I'd heard there had been a good layer; Lusuolo (just up the way from Rolandos) had been cut off for a day or so with a good couple of feet.

(there's a joke there somewhere!)

Silly question, but do they operate like UK libraries? I mean are they open to anyone to go in, take a book off the shelf and sit and read? What about joining and taking books out? I presume you have to be a resident.

Also anyone in Lunigiana know where the nearest library is?

Oops! I posted in the wrong thread. Can someone please delete. I can't seem to do it.

According to the family I used to stay with in an Agriturismo - Lunigiana last February - didnt have snow for 25 years and now 2 years running there is snow in February! Is this climate change?

I reckon there's something very funny going on. We were there last year a day after the snowfall and heard the same as you, that they hadn't had snow for 20 odd years. Sounds like there was at least as much again this year.

Hi
Just returned from lunigiana. We were staying for the first time in our house in the hills near comano/fivizzano after purchase - snow was everywhere although it was melting, it was not snowing but cold, foggy and rainy.
on our last day, however, the sun came out and it was warm!
