2534 Estate agents fees

Have been searching for a house here in le marche. Have found one we like which has been shown to us by two seperate agents---- different prices too. Question is if we buy through second agent can the first one sue us for their loss of comission on the sale?

Welcome to the forum, there are many posts covering Estate Agents fees, and we have a very well informed agent on the forum, use the "search" facility at the top of the page, and maybe drop a PM to Charles joseph, send the PM by clicking on his name and choose send pm.

[LEFT]The only way they could do this is if you signed an agreement with them. If they kept a record of the date, time and any costs incurred in showing you the property they would be entitled to seek compensation.

dear Charles,
No agreement was signed but I am sure records were kept of veiwing by this agent. Do they have a legal leg to stand on.?
