2634 Pisa

I am going to be working in Pisa the month of March and May - living in Viareggio. Any information on the area would help. I also have a holiday home house in Abruzzo in the hills - live in the Uk.Wont have my car with me but thinking of taking it out in May.
Information would help on places to visit at weekends by public transport - or could hire a car.Places to avoid. Husband will join me from UK some weekends.
What the weather will be like in March? - the thought of one case for a month is a problem for me.
Good places to eat.
Driving to Italy

For all you people who post you want to work in Italy it took me a while looking on the net and contacting people but I have found some supply teaching in a English private school. Hope to improve my language(thats the Italian!)

Heres a useful site for climate year round.

Sorry its French!!!

... and go to the port of Viareggio - this is where some of the most beautiful monster sailing and cruising boats are built for the seriously super rich. You can see finished and half finished exmples poking out of their hangers (are they called hangers for boats? ed.) ... you should go to one of the small restaurants around that area where you will be served the best value and most delicious fish lunch you will ever eat in your life...possibly. This is where a lot of the boatyard workmen eat from a special menu of the day but they all do have a posh menu too.

also I prefer this website for weather reports as it does individual communes

and look on the page for "Il tempo in Italia"

"Indica un comune"

enter your commune here - it does about 4 days worth of weather
