2692 The verb 'fare'

I am attending a night class in Italian and so far it is going really well. At the end of the last lesson our instructor told us that 'fare' was probably the most important verb that we could learn as for beginner Italians, if we were in any doubt as to what verb/verb conjugation to use, we could substitute 'fare' and most probably be right.

Now, my problem is is that I failed to grasp the conjugations of the verb 'fare'.

Can anyone clarify this for me?
