2711 Carnivale

It's Carnivale week from Sunday ...well it is here in San Vito dei Normanni....just in case any 'newies' haven't heard about it . I
It is just that last summer we missed so many 'happenings' 'cos the advertising down here is hopeless and we tended to find out after the event.

We have a procession this Sunday at 10am (no lie-in then !!!) and another one next Sunday in the evening ( a bit like a torchlight I expect )....we used to have that in good old Southend on sea with the Kursaal Flyer all lit up ....anyone heard of it ????

I expect you are all more organised than us tho' and already know about it and have your costumes ready !!!:D
Offered to buy Alex the Bat Man costume in GS supermarket but he has decided we are going as English Tourists and stand at the side of the road and watch !!!!! :cool:
Good photo opportunity for the competition....what happened to that ... I've been out of touch for so long I have no idea what is happening ( What's new !!!!:rolleyes: )

I am going to the Viareggio carneval with my brother when he gets back from Naples t/m - probably second after Venice in terms of visitors.
