2569 Auction houses and antiques

Hi,
I am coming to Italy and looking for a dealer, or auction house or anywhere where I can buy antiques in bulk.
Any leads would be appreciated.

Thats a tricky one. The Italians are not big on antiques here ... most I fear got burnt on a cold winter night !! and good pieces are very expensive. I believe Ascoli Piceno in marche has a market the 2nd sunday every month. Maybe there are more dealers in the North of Italy.

I was an antiques dealer in England & now buy here. I suggest you visit the large antiques fairs & arrange your own shipping. Most dealers here will give you the name of a reliable shipper if you don't already have one. I like the antiques fair in Arezzo the 1st weekend of every month.
